Vintage Garden Birthday Party Ideas for Tweens

This Vintage Garden Birthday Party was created with Tweens in mind. The colorful photography by Honeysuckle Rose Photography captures the innocence of the little girls that still exist in the tween years. This styled shoot was inspired by the photographers grand-daughter who will be 13 soon. I love what Melissa wrote below and having two girls of my own with my oldest turning 11 later this year, it's really hits home. Let them be girls.

It amazes me how I can be watching her be silly and behaving like such a little girl, then in a blink of the eye she is having a very mature conversation with me. Children are pushed to grow up too fast. Tweens are at a very awkward age and still glow of the innocence of little girls. Let them be girls. Silly, laughing, playing dress up with their friends. They will be beautiful young ladies soon enough.
