Bee Theme Party Ideas for Baby Showers

When it comes to baby showers (and even gender reveals) - a Bee Theme Party is a wonderful choice. It’s a fun way to celebrate the baby and mommy to be without using the traditional pink and blue colors.

Plus, when choosing the bee theme for baby showers - there’s so many fun phrases you can select from, including . . .
Mama to Bee
Mommy to Bee
Which Will It Bee? (perfect for a gender reveal)
Sweet as Honey
As Sweet as Can Bee

Here’s just a few fun bee theme party ideas I’ve gathered together to help you plan the sweetest bee themed baby shower. And, of course my very own Mommy to Bee Baby Shower confetti is included - this confetti mix comes complete with 8 hexagon die cuts (honeycombs) and 4 illustrated bee die cuts. These die cuts not only look great scattered around as table decor with the confetti - but they can be used for DIY toppers on the cake or cupcakes. Or maybe you add them to favor tags with mounting squares for extra dimension.

When it comes to bee themed baby shower invitations there’s many choices. And, of course a pretty bee wax seal from Half Pint Design is the best way to seal off the invitation for guests.
If choosing the bee theme for a gender reveal - you can have so much fun with stickers, magnets, etc and have guests choose “He” or “She” for “Which Will It Bee?” or “What Will It Bee?” Another option is to surprise your guests with a What Will It Bee Scratch Off Card from Simply Modern Design Co.
For decorations - you can’t forget about a Mom To Bee Banner from Sugar Parties LA and a What Will It Bee Cake Topper in glittery gold along with coordinating bumble bee cupcake toppers.
And, for the best photos of the Mom to Bee - don’t forget the Baby Bump Floral Sash and the Mommy to Bee Baby Shower confetti to toss in the air when the photos are being snapped. You will end up with the most memorable photos for the sweet mommy and her baby.

Are you ready to start planning a Bee Theme Baby Shower for someone you know?

Supply List for DIY Confetti Globe:
. . . an Oh Deer Baby Shower Party Favor

1. Confetti from Festive Fetti
2. Deer Gift Tag Set from Festive Fetti
3. Mason Jars (these were a 3 pack at Target in the dollar section)
4. Mini Plastic Deers from Treasured Florals (I used a string of mini pearls for a necklace)
5. Mini Bottlebrush Trees (these were from Peachy Cheap)
6. Hot Glue Gun
7. Glue for the label (I used my Xyron Creative Station adhesive - but a glue stick works too)

Now, let's start crafting to celebrate the sweet little one with these cute and easy party favors

Simply hot glue in the deer and bottlebrush tree to the inside base of the glass jar. Then sprinkle in some confetti (this is my pink ombre confetti mix which is perfect for girl baby showers). The deer labels are available in my shop and I added adhesive to the back side and it fit perfectly atop the jar lid. Wouldn't these confetti globes look super sweet set out at each place setting for the guests?

A Gender Neutral Beach Baby Shower

We are beyond excited to share this Sea Breeze Gender Neutral Baby Shower with you today thanks to our friends at Anders Ruff Designs. They have put together a truly AMAZING event full of inspirational ideas and DIY touches. It all started with a color palette of mint, aqua, lime + yellow and a menu that included simple, yet beautiful desserts and finger foods. The decor is beyond gorgeous and I just love all of the little details that were incorporated - especially the use of yarn to make the Pom Bunting and Flowers as well as an added decoration to the wrapped gifts. The menu consisted of  homemade fancy desserts mixed with store bought basics that were easily embellished. Guest favors included homemade baby pickles in glass baby food jars and M&M candies displayed in antique spice rack with old glass spice jars. All of the coordinating printables were designed by Anders Ruff and are available for purchase {here}. Images by Becca Bond Photography.

A French tea party shower for twins

I absolutley LOVE the simplicity and beauty of this French Tea Party Baby Shower for twins in honor of Susan of Nesting, LLC. The classic Ladurée green inspired the decor and was the perfect accent to the ivory linens and other event details. Guests enjoyed delicious macarons, mini lemon bundt cakes and almond biscotti served amongst vintage linens, doilies and milk glasses. Touches of gold added a special element of elegance to the event, starting with the gorgeous invitation from Curious & Co

Each guest went home with their very own box of Ladurée macarons

Guest Tree offers many different styles and size prints {accomodating up to 300 guests} to suit any event and their original artwork is hand drawn. A Backyard Baby-Q Bash

When I came across this Backyard Baby-Q Bash from Le Partie Sugar, I fell in LOVE! Although this particular event was held in the fall, there's no doubt it would make for a great summertime party as well. The color palette was inspired by the baby's nursery design of navy, natural browns and white. It was a backyard event featuring several food and drink stations {including a YUMMY Gourmet Burger Station} and decor that included vintage furniture, burlap and kraft paper to give an overall rustic feel. All of the Paper Goods, Photography and Styling was provided by Le Partie Sugar with many items available for purchase on their Etsy Shop.

Such a simple, gorgeous centerpiece combination complete with glass jars and white votive candles.

Custom hamburger buns were made thanks to Bite Sized by Carrie - Don't they look amazing?

Take a look at all of the delicious desserts, especially the homemade caramel apples - Mmmmmm!

These Mad Libs style advice cards were created in lieu of "traditional" baby shower games - LOVE it!

Guests were treated to a take home “S’more Kits for Two” complete with ingredients + instructions. Also included was a note for guests to share "s'more" love to the new parents-to-be with a meal from Meal Baby.
