DIY Mini Fiesta Boxes to Celebrate Cinco de Mayo
With tomorrow being Cinco de Mayo I wanted to share a cute and easy DIY with you to serve your chips in. You can find templates for petal favor boxes online and once you have several printed, cut and put together, you're ready for the fun part . . . decorating them!
Supplies Needed:
cardstock
petal favor box template of choice
crepe paper in your color choices
glue stick
acrylic paint
paintbrushes
PS: If using these boxes to serve food - simply line with wax paper :)
Instructions for Creating:
Trim your crepe paper to wrap around the box with a little extra for gluing. Being sure to overlap the layers as you work your way up. For fun - I painted both sides of the petal flaps with colors that matched the crepe paper.
When finished, you have the cutest little "take-out boxes" for your fiestas {parties}. These boxes are perfect for Cinco de Mayo, taco bars or just fun taco dinners with the family.
